How's the saying go? The opposite of Congress is... uhm... ssergnoC...
Dibs!
I play fantasy baseball, fantasy football, and now fantasy basketball. The concept is simple: The participants play as "managers" and pick (or "draft") players from a pool that will participate in the upcoming sporting season, sort of like a pickup game of ball during recess. Each manager then competes with each other (in different ways in different leagues) and a winner eventually emerges at the end of the season.
Well, besides being basically a forum for shit talking and blasting each other's balls (don't get any ideas), fantasy games engage the participant and forces them to care about players, teams and even sports that they wouldn't usually give two shits about, because of who is on their squad.
The creators of Fantasy Congress kept this in mind, and produced a game that used the same concepts of fantasy sports and applied it to, well, Congress.
At first I felt really jazzed to play this, but I probably won't.
This has been blogged to death...

But when I first read it, it was nowhere! Perhaps many have read about how Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert comics, lost his voice a year and a half ago and regained use of it recently through some inspiring and unconventional techniques.
Dilbert cartoonist recounts his techniques for finding his voice on his blog.

Where are the negative connotations?
I always thought this word had really negative connotations... guess not.
solicitous \suh-LIS-uh-tuhs\, adjective:
1. Manifesting or expressing care or concern.
2. Full of anxiety or concern; apprehensive.
3. Extremely careful; meticulous.
4. Full of desire; eager.

Humm
I don't have much social conciousness to bring to the table today. However, I have a cool video; he takes a picture of himself everyday and he slowly dies.

A bittersweet victory...
Order of reactions... Read along with me in your book.
Yes! Asians in commercial!
Um, two Asians? This means trouble... or a bad punchline.
Hahahaha fucking hilarious.
Why does the song have to be grammatically incorrect for the Asian?
Hahahhaha fucking awesome.
"Aw those crazy Japs!"
Visual confirmation: Japanese.
Audio confirmation: No accents.
Karate Moves: Cliche.
Commercial: Inspired by Japanese competitive eater Kobayashi?
Verdict: Still deliberating, but I want a triple Whopper now.
Don't ask me what I was doing at this site.
Before you read more, click on this and look at it.
Done? Good.
OK, so admittedly I have to say my first reaction shoots to the color shot of the flesh in the top left corner. I think it's a dude though. But he looks soft, like a girl. My eyes then move to the black and white photo of the girl's back. In that split second, another certain pic jumps into my peripheral, and it looks crazy. Can anyone else see the vagina?

Gaydar test...
So I've been watching Survivor: Cook Islands, the racially segregated version of Survivor, just because I want to see the undertones and covert (and sometimes unintentional) racism. Anyway, even though I sought out to watch the show as a critic, I find myself rooting for the Asian team to win. Nonetheless, it wasn't until episode 3 that this Hawaiian-Chinese dude, Brad, got some substantial screen time. My question is: Is he gay?
I couldn't find any clips from episode 3, but he gets some face time when the Puka tribe (Asian tribe) is introduced in episode 1.
My favorite part is at the end of the clip, where Cao Boi (pronounced Cowboy!) says, "My biggest concern with being an all Asian tribe is I've never been accepted by the Asian community. Take one look at me. I don't look educated, I don't fit the stereotype: Hard-working, Mr. engineers with jacket, suit and ties, drive nice cars. I just don't fit the stereotype." The last sentence when he is talking, lists his occupation: Nail Salon Manager. *cough* OK, you don't fit the stereotype.
Here Cao Boi solves Brad's headache using some traditional holistic techniques. Way to go, not perpetuating stereotypes, man... Also of note: Yul (the Korean) calls Cao Boi a "crazy kook." Haha.
So, this straight man wants to know if his gaydar is on point. Is Brad gay?
(in this episode, the Hispanic guy at the end of the clip is revealed to the office that he's gay, even though the viewers knew since last season)
